The petition, according to GHBase.Com, which seeks to dissolve their 16-year marriage, outlines Apostle Oduro’s expectations, including joint custody of their children and a staggering GH¢550,000 lump sum payment from his estranged wife.

He has also requested that both parties retain their respective properties while insisting that Rev. Charlotte Oduro provide a three-bedroom house for their children until the youngest completes tertiary education.
Additionally, he is demanding full payment of their children’s school fees along with a GH¢3,000 monthly allowance for their upkeep.
Social media has since erupted with mixed reactions. A comment from one user, De Hec, read, “I support him with all the blood in me, now deeeaaa a brother has taken a bold decision to demand some ransom from a woman!” Others, like Jah Rhule, questioned the legitimacy of Apostle Oduro’s demands, stating, “If he doesn’t have a house, why does he want custody? The woman should give him a 3-bedroom house?”
Benedicta Kankam sarcastically added, “Imagine this man bless your marriage hmm,” while Kwame Asifua highlighted what he perceived as a double standard: “If it were to be the other way round, this woman would have requested a very huge sum.”
