Avaldsnes IL midfielder Evelyn Badu wins double at CAF awards

Former Hasaacas Ladies attacker Evelyn Badu and her former teammate Doris Boaduwaa were nominated for the CAF Women awards.

With many Ghanaians routing for them to win, the two strived on their exploits in the last season’s CAF women’s champions league which they finished 2nd.

Badu won the golden boot award in the maiden edition of the CAF Women’s Champions League hosted in Egypt.

The midfielder scored 5 goals in the course of the tournament. Despite her team missing out on the trophy, her performance was one that couldn’t be overlooked.

Evelyn Badu won the CAF Women’s Inter Club player and Young Player of the Year Award.
