Myron Boadu opens up on his struggles at As Monaco after his mouthwatering €17 million deal from AZ Alkmaar

The Dutch-born of Ghanaian descent Myron Boadu has opened up on his first season in the French Ligue 1 with AS Monaco

Ghana target Myron Boadu has admitted that he has had quite a difficult debut season at AS Monaco after joining them from AZ Alkmaar in a last summer.

Myron Boadu Since joining the club, has four goals and one assist in his 27 game outings in the French Ligue 1 to his credit.
According to him, his frustration started after missing a clear-cut chance at the beginning of the season.


“I think this season has taught me a lot,” Boadu continues. “Now I just want to keep on scoring goals and I hope I can”
“At the beginning of my time here I got overly frustrated when I missed an opportunity, while now I’m like ‘Okay, you missed this one, but the next one is going’ in, and if you miss the next one, the next one goes in.”

Boadu who has one cap for the Dutch national team is still eligible to play for Ghana per the FIFA rules should he decide to switch nationality.
He scored on his debut for the Dutch in their 5-0 win over Estonia In the European qualifiers back in 2018.
