2022 Is My Year Of Grammys -Wendy Shay Revealed Why

Multiple Award-winning Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Wendy Addo who is popularly known as Wendy Shay has dropped her own prophecy.

Wendy Shay has been one of the most trolled female musicians in Ghana, most Ghanaians always find fault about whatever she does and I feel that is wrong. Ghanaians went crazy and started to troll Ghana artists after Nigerians won their first-ever Grammy award, and the credit goes to Burna Boy who made it possible with his “Twice As Tall” album.

One thing that has been my worry is about how Ghanaians have failed to praise their own after Rocky Dawuni who is Ghanaian a Reggae musician secured his second nomination in the 64th Grammy awards scheduled for this year, 2022.

They have also forgotten that Stonebwoy and Fuse ODG have also made appearances on the Recording Academy after some albums they were featured on grabbed nominations.

For me Ghanaian artists are not as bad as we think, but it’s a matter of time we will also win Grammys, for me, the one closer now is Rocky Dawuni but aside from him, I see Sarkodie as the closest.

Now let dive into what sister Wendy Shay said concerning the Grammys. Wendy as we said in our intro is one of the best songstresses in Ghana presently. This year has been so far interesting as Wendy Shay sees the future brighter, she has made a vow to bring an award from the Grammys to Ghana as she gallantly declares 2022 as a year of Grammys.

She posted on her Twitter, and she wrote; 2022 is the year of Grammys I’m bringing it to the motherland Watch me !
