Some traditional authorities in Sekondi Takoradi and Effia-Kwesimistim are up in arms with the family members of Josephine Panyin Mensah, the fake Takoradi Pregnant lady who staged her kidnapping a few weeks ago.
Currently, Matters are getting worse for the family members of Josephine Panyin Mensah. When doctors finally declared that she was not pregnant, the Western Region Minister, Dr. Kwabena Okyere Darko Mensah broke the news to the world and many who were unhappy lambasted him.
Some family members immediately went for eggs and schnapps and invoked the wrath of the gods on the regional minister.
Their curses went viral to the extent that some residents in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis who had doubts supported them. Now, the lady has been charged for deceiving a public officer and spreading fake news, her pregnancy has as well been tagged medically as fake.
Following this, it was expected that the curse rained on the regional minister would be reversed but that has not been the case. There is currently a serious case that is befalling the family members involved.
Some traditional authorities in the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis have begun a crusade to punish the family members who led the curses. The Chief of Apremdo, Nana Egya Kwamena IX has asked the family members to begin preparation in revoking the curses or face the consequences.

He revealed on Radio 360 in an interview with Kwame Malcolm monitored by BeaNana that the family members of Josephine Mensah Panyin have brought a disgrace on the land of Takoradi and Ahanta in general.
As traditional authorities, they have the right to summon the family members for their conduct. He did not indicate the exact day when they will officially punish the family members but says it will be done soon with the consent of the Western Region Minister.
The move to punish the family members involved is also to discourage the frequent cases of fake kidnapping that have been happening in Twin City recently.
Nana Egya Kwamena IX believes that if the family members are punished, others will not repeat the faking of kidnapping to even gain public sympathy for their actions.
