We have chanced upon a video of when embattled Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who popularly called Shatta Wale was given a resounding welcome by inmates at the Ankaful Maximum prison upon his arrival to spend his remand term.
It could be recalled that Shatta Wale was remanded by the court to spend a week in prison after he was found guilty of causing fear and panic when he deceived the general public with his gun attack stunt.
He staged a supposed attack with some members of his SM team, Gangee, Nana Dope, Deportee claiming he has been shot in reaction to a death prophecy by preacher, Jesus Ahuofe, who is currently also in police custody.
The video we have sighted captured the moment Shatta Wale was in the company of some Prison officers and he walked into the prison while the inmates cheered him on as he made his way into his cell.
