Mr Logic is one of the most controversial Entertainment pundits in Ghana. He has said his mind on Diana Hamilton’s Artiste of the year win during this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
According to Mr Logic, when they use or determine the winner as per the compilation of the votes from the board of the VGMA, that of the academy, and votes from the public which constitutes 40% of the entire vote cast, Diana Hamilton did not win the artiste of the year and there is something wrong somewhere.
Speaking on the United Television’s biggest tv show named United Showbiz which is mostly hosted by Empress Nana Ama Mcbrown, Mr. Logic stated emphatically that gospel musicians are not to be included in the Artiste of the year category.
During his long talk, he said that Gospel is not a genre, and needs to be included in an award scheme.
Mr Logic revealed that the award should be given to an artiste who represents the entire industry and all the genres in general and Diana Hamilton playing a single role as a gospel artiste is not enough reason for her to be nominated in the category in the first place and winning it is another problem on it own.
Mr. Logic then stated that there is no award scheme in the world which has gospel musicians dominating their topmost category because it is not a genre😳😳.
